Tour Overview

08:00 AM – Hotel Pick-Up

Your driver-guide meets you at your hotel for a brief introduction to the day’s program. Enjoy a comfortable transfer as you learn about Nairobi’s wildlife conservation efforts.

09:00 AM – Arrive at Nairobi National Park Gate Area

Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is located near the main park entrance. Settle in, explore the small exhibits and learn about the Trust’s mission of rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned elephants.

11:00 AM – Elephant Presentation Session

This is the highlight of the day. Watch young elephants being fed and learn their rescue stories, rehabilitation journeys, and the release programs back into the wild. You’ll witness conservation in action and see how dedicated keepers care for the animals.

12:30 PM – Adopt-an-Elephant Information

After the session, guests may browse the conservation shop or get guidance on the fostering program, which helps fund elephant care and anti-poaching patrols.

01:00 PM – Lunch Break

Transfer to a nearby restaurant such as Karen Blixen Coffee Garden, Talisman, or Nairobi National Park Serena for a relaxing lunch.

02:30 PM – Optional Add-On Activities

Depending on your interests, you may add any of the following:

Giraffe Centre – Feeding giraffes from a raised platform.
Karen Blixen Museum – A cultural and historical experience.
Kazuri Beads Factory – Women’s crafts and handmade jewelry.

04:30 PM – Return to Hotel

Drive back to your hotel or chosen drop-off point.
