Tour Overview

06:00 AM – Depart Nairobi

Early morning pick-up from your preferred location.
Drive via the scenic Great Rift Valley viewpoint for short photo stops.

 

 08:30 AM – Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park

Proceed to the park gates for registration and entry.

 

 08:45 AM – Morning Game Drive

Enjoy a slow drive through the park as you explore:

White rhinos and (often) endangered black rhinos
Tree-climbing lions (if lucky)
Large flocks of flamingos along the shores
Buffalos, zebras, impalas, waterbucks, baboons and rich birdlife

 

12:30 PM – Lunch Break

Options:

Picnic lunch at designated viewpoints such as Baboon Cliff or Makalia Falls
OR buffet lunch at a nearby lodge (optional upgrade)

 

01:45 PM – Afternoon Game Drive

Explore the southern and western sides of the park.
Visit the lake shores for photography and birdwatching.
Chances of spotting hyenas, giraffes, and occasional leopards.
 

04:00 PM – Exit the Park & Begin Return Journey

Drive through the park on the way out for final sightings.

 

 06:30 PM – Arrival in Nairobi

Drop-off at your residence or hotel.
